Navigating the New Normal: The COVID-19 Impact on Employment Law Forums

Legal Innovation Lab Wales have published newest research report, in collaboration with LegalBeagles, investigating the impact of COVID-19 on legal advice forums.

This report explores the role that the LegalBeagles online advice forum played in supporting consumers seeking advice on employment issues, with a particular focus on the early phases of the COVID-19 pandemic (March 2020 - December 2021).

To celebrate the launch of this report the Lab hosted an event with expert panelists to further explore the role the role that online forums play in supporting access to justice, including the safeguards needed to ensure forums provide reliable guidance and advice, the challenges encountered, and the ways in which government, regulators and legal professionals can support the development of a healthy ecosystem of online legal forums in the UK.
